Two-time T20 World Cup champion Chris Gayle and USA bowler Ali Khan kicked off the Trophy Tour by lighting up the Empire State Building in New York. The upcoming ninth edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, starting on June 1, 2024, will be held across the USA and West Indies.

It marks the first ICC event in the United States and will feature matches at three venues: Nassau County International Stadium in New York, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill. New York will host eight matches, while the other two venues will host four each. Co-hosts West Indies will play matches at iconic venues across the region.
