NBA's Milwaukee Bucks' Lillard faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers today, sinking 4 three-pointers, surpassing Hall of Famer Miller in career three-pointers to rank fourth alone in history. However, his attempt at the final shot was blocked by Lakers' Dinwiddie, and the Bucks ultimately lost 122-123.

Lillard began his NBA career in 2012 and spent the previous 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers before joining the Bucks this season. Prior to this season, he had recorded at least 200 three-pointers in 8 seasons of his career.

Before today's game against the Lakers, Lillard had made 173 three-pointers this season, totaling 2560 in his career, tying with Reggie Miller for fourth place. With 2 three-pointers in the second quarter, he surpassed Miller on the leaderboard, securing the fourth spot alone.

Scoring 28 points and 12 assists in the game, Lillard had a chance to help the Bucks win, but his last-second jump shot was blocked by Lakers' Dinwiddie.

Lakers' guard Russell, with LeBron James sidelined due to ankle soreness, stepped up his offensive game, scoring 44 points and 9 assists, including 9 three-pointers. He also hit the winning shot with 5.2 seconds left, leading the Lakers to a comeback victory.

According to the Associated Press, Russell, who has faced criticism for his inconsistent performance and previous trade rumors, stated: "I've never lacked confidence, and I'm not afraid to compete. Everyone knows what I've been through off the court, and the ridicule from the outside world has only helped shape me into the killer you see today."

According to reports from foreign media, Russell became the first player in history to hit at least 9 three-pointers in a game for three different teams (Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Lakers). His performance in the fourth quarter today, where he scored 21 points alone, is also the first for a Lakers player since Kobe Bryant in 2016.
