What are your views on old Indian team vs the new Indian team?

The Indian Cricket team has not been able to win the ICC trophy since 2013. That's the time when the transition of players took place. How will you view and compare the old team vs the new team?

The 2011 Indian Cricket team was a far better team than the current one. Our team has never had an explosive opener like Virendra Sehwag. Middle order batters who could bowl like Raina, Yuvraj, Yusuf and Sachin are not in today's team. And most importantly, the leadership of MS Dhoni can never be replicated.

Definitely the old team was a masterclass… but the current isn't bad either.The times have changed… With the rise of t20 cricket, players are missing out on temperament which is gained from playing longer format of cricket. We can’t judge the two teams because the conditions are totally different now.

The only factor which makes the old cricket team better than the current one is the sharp mind of MS Dhoni. He could predict what’s going to happen beforehand. He knew his team and the players could win him games. I believe if we get a mind like MS as our captain… both the teams will be equal then.
