"For a football club, what makes the best owner? Perhaps it's someone who readily invests when the coach asks for it, never interferes in the team's management affairs, and entrusts all responsibilities to professionals. In this regard, Manchester City's owner is indeed the best. He has owned Manchester City for 15 years, but has only visited twice!

In the Champions League final, a rare figure was seen in the Manchester City stands—the owner of Manchester City, Mansour, actually came to watch the game. To illustrate how rare this event is, let's list some facts. Since Mansour acquired Manchester City in 2008, prior to this Champions League final, he had only watched one game live in Manchester. That match was in August 2010 when they defeated Liverpool. After that, for a total of 13 years, he hadn't been to watch a Manchester City match.

Even in 2021, when Manchester City reached the Champions League final again, Mansour still didn't come to watch the game. This alone tells you how exceptional this event was. Manchester City's rapid rise to become a dominant force in the Premier League in just over a decade is mainly due to the substantial investments by the owner, Mansour. For fans, there can be no better news than having an owner willing to invest. Mansour is highly professional, delegating the management of the team to a professional team and never intervening himself. His professional team is indeed top-notch, making Manchester City one of the best in the Premier League in terms of the first team, logistics, and youth training systems.

So, the best owner is one who has ample funds and minimally interferes. As a contrasting example, Chelsea's new owner, Burley, is a classic case of an amateur trying to guide the experts—an approach that has resulted in losses across the board. Due to his lack of expertise, Chelsea has made numerous overspending purchases this season, earning mockery for spending the most money and suffering the most losses. Much of this is related to Burley's unprofessional handling. Therefore, when it comes to owners, it's best for them to handle the financial side and leave the professional matters to the experts."

It demonstrates that the owner has a high level of trust in the Manchester City team and allows them to manage things independently.
