This World Cup is happening in India where the pitches are generally spin-friendly. But in the recent series against Australia, we have seen that the pitches were totally batting-friendly.

So, what will the pitches in the World Cup be like and how would you think the Indian players would be dealing with that?

In my opinion, most of the pitches will favour batters in this World Cup. But in some stadiums like Lucknow, Delhi and Chennai… spinners may come into play as they are typical spin-friendly pitches like we have seen in the 2023 IPL.

The pitches in this World Cup will favor batters. But, skilled bowlers like Bumrah, Ashwin, boult, Cummins, etc will be able to take wickets using their skills and experience. Also, a good death bowler can limit the opponent's score below par on such pitches.

The pitches will not favor just the batter or the bowler. Pitches we are a combination of batting-friendly and bowling-friendly. However, in some stadiums like Delhi and Lucknow… spinners will surely take more wickets and fewer runs will be scored.
