PCB proposes the BCCI for the Gandhi-Jinnah series for India and Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf on Monday proposed a bilateral series between India and Pakistan that can be played annually like the Ashes. India and Pakistan haven't played bilateral cricket since 2012 due to the strained relationship between the two neighboring nations.

I think this is a good step towards finishing the draught of bilateral matches between India and Pakistan. Fans must be eager and watch these matches with full enthusiasm. I think BCCI should accept the offer.

I am not sure if this is a good proposal and if BCCI should accept the offer or not. There will be political and security issues when India travels to Pakistan or when Pakistan travels to India. I can’t say anything about this.

India and Pakistan have been playing ICC tournaments every year anyways. I think this is an unnecessary additional series and will be a burden on workload management. I think India should not accept this proposal.
