Nomura Securities' crypto subsidiary, Laser Digital, opens a new office in Japan.
Nomura Securities' digital asset subsidiary, Laser Digital, has opened a new office in Japan to expand its business in Asia. Hideaki Kudo, former executive director of Nomura Securities, has been appointed as the head of the new office in Japan. Kudo has previously been involved in multiple projects for Nomura Securities, including the development of security tokens for the Nomura Group. Earlier, Nomura Securities' digital asset subsidiary, Digital, launched the Bitcoin Adoption Fund for institutional investors. This fund is a long-term mutual fund based in the Cayman Islands, with digital asset custody provided by Komainu. |
