I came across Solana while looking for crypto to invest in. I saw a lot of messages where users criticized Solana for its outages. Yet, it was among the top 20 cryptos.

Solana is a legit cryptocurrency and a blockchain. The outages which users were talking about were a thing of the past when the blockchain was not that stable. This year, Solana only had a single outage which was quickly restored.
       
        You can invest in Solana but make sure not to put all your eggs in a single basket.

Solana is not a crypto trading platform. It is a blockchain that provides fast and secure transactions. Sure, it has its own drawbacks like the outages but the blockchain also supports a number of cryptocurrencies that you can put together in one Solana-based wallet.

There is high trust in Solana despite its outages. I suppose that is because it has time and again restored the confidence of its users. Currently, more than $380 Million is locked on the blockchain in various liquidity pools which shows user confidence.
