Can we sell Bitcoin without an exchange?

There is a lot of paperwork needed to open an account with an exchange. Further, I do not trust exchanges with my Aadhar data. Is there any way I could buy or sell Bitcoin without an exchange?

Yes, there are several platforms where you can sell Bitcoins. These platforms are called P2P or OTC trading platforms. Just visit a P2P trading platform that requires zero or no KYC and then sell your Bitcoin via peer to peer trading. Beware of scammers and always use a trusted platform.

It is not advised to sell Bitcoin other than an exchange because there have been several instances in peer to peer trading where the other party was a suspicious one and this led to the freezing of the seller’s bank account even if they did nothing illegal.

If you are worried about KYC, go to Binance, they are much more secure than others when it comes to documents. Register an account and use their P2P trading desk. I have been using it for the last 2-3 years and have never faced any problems.
