"Baccarat insurance betting is somewhat similar to the principles of hedging in investment studies. Compared to games like blackjack and Texas Hold'em, Baccarat insurance betting offers more flexibility in gameplay. So, how do you place Baccarat insurance bets, and what are the payout odds? Below, I'll provide a detailed introduction to Baccarat insurance betting strategies, allowing you to experience the fun of Baccarat.

Firstly, after placing your bet, when you have a lead over the opposite side, you can add an ""insurance"" bet according to specified odds (usually up to an equivalent amount of your initial bet). To diversify the options, you can choose to purchase either ""Banker Insurance"" or ""Player Insurance"" based on the side you initially bet on, reducing the risk of losing your entire wager if your opponent decides to draw another card.

In other words, there are two situations in which you can buy insurance:

1. **Banker Insurance**: When the banker's initial two cards have a higher total point value than the player's initial two cards, e.g., if the banker's point total is four, five, six, or seven, exceeding the player's total points of zero to five, the player may choose to draw another card. To minimize the risk of the player winning after drawing, you can buy ""Banker Insurance."" The minimum bet for this is typically in units of ten thousand, and the maximum bet is equal to the initial wager on the banker. If the game ultimately ends with the player winning, the ""Banker Insurance"" bet wins. If the banker wins, the ""Banker Insurance"" bet loses, and in case of a tie, the ""Banker Insurance"" bet pushes.

2. **Player Insurance**: When the player's final point total is greater than that of the banker, and the banker needs to draw another card, the player can place a bet on ""Player Insurance."" If the game ends with the banker winning, the ""Player Insurance"" bet wins. If the player wins, the ""Player Insurance"" bet loses. In the event of a tie with a total point value of eight or less, it results in a ""Player Insurance"" bet push. However, if the player's three-card total is nine after the draw, and the outcome is still a tie, the ""Player Insurance"" bet is considered a win."
