The threatening English bowler Jofra Archer who was out of action for the past two years has joined England for this World Cup. He also played in the IPL this year but left mid-season because of injury.

I don’t think England will risk playing Jofra Archer in this World. Jofra is not 100% fit for the game and if someone smashes runs against him, it will hamper Jofra’s confidence. I think England should let him rest this World Cup also.

England is in shatters this World Cup. The Afghans beat them. I think they need a strong contender in their bowling lineup and Jofra provides them with that. The duo of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer can prove to be lethal.

There is a 50-50 chance if Jofra plays. England should first focus on playing Ben Stokes. If adding Ben Stokes provides England some relief, then I don’t think England should risk bringing Jofra earlier.
