Elon Musk's son has grown up, and you may wonder why I referred to him as having "grown up" like that. It's because Elon Musk's son has transitioned to become a girl, and in addition to transitioning, Musk's son has changed her name and pledged to cut ties with her father.

The former world's richest man, Elon Musk, now has an 18-year-old child! However, his child waited until turning 18 and then submitted legal documents requesting a name change and gender transition, indicating that she no longer wants any connection to her former world's richest father. According to reports from the media, Elon Musk's child, Xavier Alexander Musk, submitted an application to the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California in Santa Monica in April of this year. She wishes to change her last name to her mother's and simultaneously transition her gender. One of the reasons she is seeking gender transition is to no longer have any connection with her biological father, which has exposed their strained relationship.

According to court documents obtained through a legal information website, Xavier recently turned 18, which is the legal age in California. She has requested the court to change her gender from male to female and has registered a new name, Vivian Jenna Wilson. Online records indicate that her name has already been changed. Xavier's mother is Justine Wilson, who was married to Elon Musk in 2000 and divorced in 2008. There have been no further explanations of the rift between father and son in reports so far. As of now, neither Elon Musk's attorneys nor Tesla's media office has responded to Reuters' requests for comments via email.

It is known that Elon Musk and his "daughter" have not responded to the gender transition and name change by the son. However, the mother has shown support for her "daughter" in a tweet, saying, "I'm proud of you for being brave and being yourself. Not everyone can do that, especially when their identity is different."

Changing one's gender indeed requires a lot of courage.

To be honest, I've always had trouble understanding the mindset of transgender individuals. It seems like only some rather extreme people would make such decisions.

With a great father, there is a "great" son; it seems natural that a son inherits his father's traits, and there's nothing to be surprised about.
