""Texas Hold'em Poker Players: 10 Personality Types and Their Playing Styles
1. Donkey
The term ""donkey"" is used to describe players who perform poorly. Skilled players should be happy to encounter these ""donkeys"" because they can make a lot of money from them. Donkeys tend to make wide calls before the flop, make many poor calls after the flop, and blindly chase draws without considering their odds of success.

2. Fish
Fish are similar to donkeys but tend to be slightly tighter. They have a narrow range before the flop but often make inappropriate calls after the flop. Fish players typically avoid betting and prefer to call. However, if a fish connects with the board, they may be willing to pay for your strong hands.

3. Coward
Cowards are risk-averse players who tend to play tight. They only bet when they have strong hands. If you see a coward betting, it's likely they have a strong hand. To avoid significant losses, you should fold if you don't have a strong hand.

4. Shark
Sharks are the most challenging players to face. They have excellent betting skills and know when to be aggressive or tight. They understand the strength of their hand and when they are ahead or behind. However, unless you're playing high-stakes games, you'll encounter only a few sharks at other levels.

5. Pre-flop Nit
These players are similar to cowards, but the difference is that pre-flop nits tend to be aggressive. Once they enter a pot, you should realize that they likely hold premium hands like AA, KK, or AK. They will bet big with strong hands or when they connect with the flop.

6. Extreme Bluffers
These players are often young and inexperienced. They like to bluff but may eventually learn the importance of caution and humility or spiral into a cycle of worsening skills.

7. Calling Stations
Calling stations play too many hands and are very passive. They call almost every bet, even with marginal hands. They rarely bet and don't make aggressive moves. These players lack self-discipline and often rely on luck.

8. Habitual Bettors
These players can't resist betting and bet on most hands. Whenever it's their turn to act, they will bet, regardless of their position or the number of opponents. They are often seen betting pre-flop and after the flop.

9. Hotheads
Poker is a high-pressure game that can lead to emotional highs and lows. Hotheads have good poker skills, but when things don't go their way, they can easily tilt and struggle to handle bad beats. If you spot these players at your table, look for opportunities to take advantage of their emotional state.

10. Chameleons
Chameleons can adapt their play style based on the table dynamics. They may start aggressive but slow down when they notice loose play at the table. These players are skilled and know how to survive in various game environments.
