1. About Winning:
In the past, I've come across various perspectives on winning, like some people say it's the ultimate path, and maybe victory truly is the way to go. However, I personally think that the idea of win to advance might be suitable for those who use the word gamble to describe their actions. Betting your winnings in the next round may seem like a way to double your gains, creating the illusion of small risk for large reward. Yet, in reality, if you lose, it means you'll lose everything you've won before. Therefore, I believe that frequent gamblers who often win either end up with substantial gains or substantial losses. Occasionally, I do try it out too, but only when I sense a winning streak. In those cases, I'll bet on the winning side, but this is also quite rare. In the end, my personality prevents me from taking the risk of gambling what I've already won in the hopes of winning more.
2. About Negative Progression:
This is actually my favorite approach. Typically, I follow a progression like 1/2/5/10/25/50, with six bets as a set. However, playing baccarat might be a bit different from others. Usually, in baccarat, you're waiting for a winning streak to appear, whether it's riding the streak or betting against it. My strategy is as I mentioned earlier: bet with the streak when it's winning, and use a negative progression when it's losing. When there's no streak, I stick to flat betting. However, due to my personality, I tend to find myself going against the streak most of the time. This is because when I'm using a negative progression and lose, I can potentially recover what I've lost by continuing to bet.
3. Self-Control:
I hope that in the future, everyone can maintain self-control while gambling and play according to their financial reality. If you plan to play, allocate only about one-sixth of your monthly salary for it. If you lose this amount, you should consider it bad luck and stop playing for the month. But sometimes, whether you win a lot or lose everything, it's challenging to exercise self-control. In the end, gambling should be done in moderation, and remember that there's no remedy for regret.
