According to official announcements made on October 24th, CoinTR exchange has appointed ŞAKİR ERCAN, the former Deputy Minister of Finance and Financial Inspection of Turkey, as the Chairman of the Board. Additionally, they have appointed ERGüN AKINCI, the current Chief Advisor to the Central Bank of Turkey and former Chairman of the Board at Deutsche Bank Turkey Branch, as well as MEHMET EMİN, former Vice President of Vakfi Bank, as board members. ALİ EŞELİOĞLU, who recently stepped down from his position as Deputy Director of the Market Department at the Central Bank of Turkey, where he oversaw the regulation of national gold reserves, imports and exports, foreign exchange transactions, and bond note trading, has been appointed as the CEO. Yakup DEMİR has been appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer and previously served as the Head of the Agency Authorization and Licensing Office at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey.
