On October 27th, according to The Verge, Elon Musk, in an internal call at X company, expressed his desire for X to become the center of users' financial lives, handling all money-related transactions. He expects to launch these features by the end of 2024. He emphasized that it would not be limited to simple payment functionality but would offer comprehensive financial services, allowing users to do without a bank account. X is currently working on obtaining a payment business license in the United States to provide financial services.
Furthermore, Musk stated that X's transformation is directly related to his goal of turning it into an "all-in-one app," similar to China's WeChat, providing services such as shopping and transportation. |
