Alchemy hires former Stripe head of Web3 as Engineering Director.

Web3 developer platform Alchemy has hired former Stripe Web3 lead Guillaume Poncin as its Engineering Director. Poncin will be responsible for overseeing engineering and technical management of Alchemy's existing and new products, as well as expanding its services.

During his 3-year tenure at Stripe, Guillaume Poncin initially led engineering design for banking and financial products, then built the crypto team and launched fiat-to-crypto deposit channels and cross-border payment products using stablecoins. Prior to joining Stripe, Poncin worked at Google for 12 years, serving as a technical lead for Google Books and Google Cloud.

Poncin's extensive experience in both the financial and technology sectors positions him well to contribute to Alchemy's continued growth and innovation in the Web3 space. His leadership is expected to play a vital role in advancing Alchemy's offerings and furthering its impact within the industry.
