On November 9th, the Lakers suffered a 94-128 defeat against the Rockets. After the game, Lakers player Rui Hachimura was interviewed.
Hachimura mentioned that the Lakers can't use injuries as an excuse because every team is dealing with this issue.
He added that it's "difficult" with so many teammates missing the game, but regardless of who is on the court, they need to stay focused.
Hachimura said, "As a team, we need to come together better."
He mentioned that during his absence, he could assess how he could impact the game. Tonight, upon his return, he worked hard to play with energy.
In this game, Hachimura came off the bench for 26 minutes, made 10 out of 14 shots, contributed 24 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. |
