A 33-year-old Brazilian football fan showcased his passion by tattooing the jersey of the Brazilian giant Flamengo on his body. The 33-year-old fan, José, is a truck driver and a devoted supporter of Flamengo, one of Brazil's most popular football clubs with millions of fans. The tattoo artist, Chavez, who inked the jersey, commented, Brazil is a football kingdom. I've done some team logos, but I've never tried tattooing a football jersey. It was a rare job for me. It's not an easy job; it takes time and effort. It was also the first time for the tattoo artist.
José mentioned, I started the tattoo in April 2017 and finished it in April 2018. The entire tattoo cost $4,000. The process was very long and painful. We planned to do a portion each week, and each session took several hours. We couldn't do it every week because the tattoo was too painful, and we had to wait for it to scab and heal. When asked why he chose to tattoo the jersey, he replied, Because I've been a passionate Flamengo fan since I was a child. His mother, Barbara, added, His father used to watch Flamengo's matches a lot when he was a child, sitting beside his father to watch. His father taught him 'shooting,' and at that time, he couldn't even speak or understand what 'shooting' meant. |
