In Queensland, Australia, there's a woman just like me, keeping her phone on silent for an extended period. She almost missed out on a $25 million Australian dollar prize! Fortunately, the person trying to notify her called multiple times, prompting her to finally answer and discover that she had won!
According to foreign media reports, a woman in her 40s from Lockyer Valley, Australia, had her phone on silent and rarely answered unknown calls, nearly missing the notification of her lottery win. Matt Har, a spokesperson for the lottery company, mentioned that they had made numerous attempts to contact the winner but couldn't reach her. Luckily, she eventually returned the call and confirmed her win. The lucky woman mentioned that she checked her phone and found many missed calls. She jokingly said, "I didn't think it would come true when I called back after winning the lottery. I was just joking. Trust me, I never thought I won $25 million." She used the prize money to buy a new car for her husband and a house for herself. Everything felt surreal, and she could spend her days just staring at that lottery ticket.
Matt Har also urged other winners to check their phones, stating that if you suddenly receive numerous calls, you might be the winner they are looking for. |
