Today, I'd like to share some insights from the perspective of a baccarat dealer, also known as a ""croupier"" among Hong Kong players, regarding the game of baccarat. Perhaps due to spending my days in this environment, playing baccarat has unconsciously become my biggest hobby. I deal baccarat during work hours, and after work, I play baccarat. Besides eating and sleeping, my life revolves around baccarat. Over the years, I've walked a long path in the world of baccarat, experiencing its highs and lows, its joys and sorrows, and witnessing its successes and failures. I'd like to share some advice from the perspective of a baccarat dealer with all of you. While not everyone may agree with my viewpoints, I hope you can consider them as reference points. So, when you encounter setbacks and lows, I hope you can remember the advice I'm giving you.

1. DC Advantage Isn't Applicable to Players:
In various baccarat forums and communities, I often come across articles from many individuals expressing the idea of studying the DC (Dragon and Tiger) advantage, hoping to somehow take advantage of it and overcome the DC. This viewpoint is incorrect. Regardless of whether you manage to take the DC advantage, the profitability of the DC is not determined by its slight advantage in the game. Even if we manage to gain that advantage, the core elements that allow the DC to thrive are the Law of Large Numbers, Group Betting, and Betting Capital Limits. The DC's advantage is based on the assumption of ""infinite"" funds. Even if we find a method to gain the advantage in the game, it's not enough to beat the DC, as we lack ""infinite"" funds. Some might argue that if a player has more money than the DC, wouldn't they be more ""infinite""? Can't they beat the DC that way? Yes, they still can't beat the DC. Let me explain why. Even if a player has more money, the DC has another unbeatable weapon: the Betting Capital Limits. If a betting table doesn't have a capital limit, a player with ""infinite"" money can continue betting until they win, and eventually, they will win back their capital along with some profit. Once there's a capital limit, no strategy can change that. A betting table operates 24/7. In the casino where I work, there are nearly 200 betting tables. Some might be losing, but others are winning, following the principles of Group Betting. In contrast, as individual players, we can't gather a group every day, place the same bets, play for the same duration, and then evenly distribute the wins and losses. Therefore, we can't afford to lose, while the DC can.

2. Both Banker and Player Have Opportunities – Don't Oppose Trends:
Baccarat is a random game, and the chances of the Banker and Player winning are always 50/50. Don't be concerned with claims that Banker has a higher advantage than Player by a certain percentage. That small advantage has long been offset by the casino's commission. Regardless of whether you bet on the Banker or Player, their advantages are the same. In fact, sometimes, the Player's hand is stronger, and I've witnessed cases where the Player's hand won after only a few cards. Baccarat's chances for Banker and Player are equal, but it doesn't mean that they appear the same number of times in each shoe. Most shoes will have periods when one side is stronger than the other. However, this is something players can use to their advantage – by recognizing trends and adapting to them. So, I've always believed that exclusively betting on the Banker or Player for the entire shoe isn't effective.

3. Abandon Cable Betting – Trying to Recover Losses Only Leads to More Losses:
Many people enjoy researching cable betting methods. Here, I'll share the best cable strategy in the world: Gather a substantial amount of money and go to a table where the gap between the minimum and maximum bets is the largest. Start betting from the minimum and keep increasing your bet until you hit the maximum. This way, you can save time and effort, and as long as you continue the cable, you'll eventually win. However, let me tell you, whoever designs cable strategies knows a very simple fact: The longer the cable, the lower the chances of it breaking. The casino provides players with ample room for maneuver, but we often restrict ourselves with rules such as switching from 8-side to 6-side, 5-side, 4-side... We're giving the casino more opportunities and limiting ourselves, which doesn't make sense in theory or practice. No matter which cable system you design, they won't solve the two critical weaknesses of players: limited funds and a tendency to succumb to losses. The pressures of reaching the higher levels and the constant fear of breaking the cable often drain the joy out of playing. At my table, I've noticed that the people who lose the most are often the ones who play cable systems. While they might make small profits when they win, a single break can lead to massive losses. From my experience, players who are passionate about cable systems end up losing much more.

In conclusion, no matter the strategy you use, your chances of beating the casino must be greater than the casino's chances of beating you. Otherwise, you're falling into the trap of the casino's Law of Large Numbers, which they can withstand but you cannot. Regardless of the type of cable, there will always be weaknesses. Sticking to a single pattern only wears down your confidence. I'd like to offer you some advice: Give up researching the casino's advantages, as it will cost you more than you gain. Don't fight against trends because both the Banker and Player have their chances. Abandon all forms of cable betting and patiently seize opportunities.

It's advisable to have individuals who are composed and calm; otherwise, it might be better not to provide it.
