People who exhibit double standards are very unpleasant. How to deal with such individuals?

In reality, we often encounter people who exhibit double standards, and some of them are not only frustrating but also quite unpleasant. When faced with individuals displaying double standards that disgust me, I certainly cannot turn a blind eye. However, engaging in a confrontation with them would only worsen the situation. I might choose to stay calm, not allowing emotions to cloud my judgment. Nonetheless, I generally don't tolerate such behavior. When it's time to reason, I will speak up. If others refuse to be reasonable, I will try my best to present my arguments logically in response. I aim to communicate with the person rationally, perhaps asking, 'Hey, I noticed you said this just now, but haven't you done something similar before?' Not in an aggressive tone, but in an exploratory manner, allowing the person to realize their own contradictions.

If the person remains stubborn, I might resort to a bit of sarcasm, letting them understand that treating me poorly won't make their situation any better. For example, I might say, 'Wow, your skill in double standards is truly admirable. No wonder you've reached the level of a double standards master so quickly.'

Of course, if the person's attitude persists, I won't back down. I will firmly express my viewpoint, making it clear that I won't tolerate derogatory remarks. I might say, 'I respect everyone's opinions, but please also respect mine. We can have different perspectives without the need for offensive language.'

Ultimately, if the person continues to be disgusting, I might choose to distance myself. After all, life is short, and there's no need to waste time with those who enjoy spreading negativity. I might say, 'Okay, it seems we can't reach a consensus on this topic. Maybe we can switch to a different subject, or each of us can retain our own views.' Then, privately, I'll express my frustration. Dealing with such individuals is unavoidable.

In summary, when faced with people who exhibit double standards and are unpleasant, I maintain composure and rationality, attempting to resolve the issue through communication. If the person remains unreasonable, I choose to protect myself and avoid unnecessary negative influences. After all, happiness is the most important!

Most people who exhibit double standards tend to be hypocritical and skilled at pretending.

If someone provokes me, I will directly counterattack or simply ignore them!

I completely disregard double standards and feel indifferent about them.
