Most importantly is to ensure that this regulatory framework can bring more certainty to investors, companies, and even legislators. I think it's too early to tailor overly strict regulations for a nascent market.
When asked if Bitcoin could be declared a legal payment method in Brazil, he responded,
In terms of the definition of 'payment,' I have no doubt that Bitcoin can be understood as a legal payment method. If both parties wish to use Bitcoin to trade products, I don't think there are any legal obstacles in between. |
