Information disclosed by the SEC shows that the agency met with Bitwise, VanEck, Fidelity, and Invesco separately regarding their proposals at the end of November. Around the same time, the SEC also held a meeting regarding the spot Bitcoin ETF proposal on behalf of Ark Invest with 21Shares. The SEC does not seem to have met with WisdomTree, Valkyrie, or GlobalX regarding their respective spot Bitcoin ETF applications. While the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has disclosed several recent meetings, it has not publicly indicated any plans to approve a spot Bitcoin ETF.
