As the dominant force in the Premier League, Manchester City has experienced four consecutive winless rounds, a situation seemingly unprecedented in recent years. Especially in yesterday's match against Aston Villa, it was a complete defeat. When I say 'complete defeat,' I'm not referring to the score, as losing by just one goal is not the issue. It's about the overall performance. In the past, City used to dominate, but now they find themselves being dominated. This is not the familiar Manchester City we know. Losing a match is sometimes an accident, but losing so convincingly indicates that City's recent form is indeed problematic.

However, Manchester City's loss is good news for Arsenal. Compared to City's recent struggles, Arsenal has been playing too smoothly lately. At least, from the results, it seems so. They can always turn the game around or secure a last-minute victory when trailing. With their recent winning streak, the Gunners now lead the league table with 36 points. Although there are no immediate challengers behind them, and only about a third of the season has passed, it might be too early to talk about winning the title. Still, they are, at the very least, among the top contenders. It has been 20 years since their last title, and I believe the Gunners will seize this opportunity.

Actually, I used to enjoy watching Arsenal's matches before. Back then, they had Coach Wenger, often referred to as the professor—a white-haired gentleman, impeccably dressed in a suit and tie, who, when directing matches, truly resembled a refined university professor. Initially, they had Henry, who later moved to the New York Red Bulls. Then came the era of the 'Russian Tsar' Arshavin, Fabregas, Nasri, Bendtner, making Arsenal a strong contender for the Premier League title. However, after Coach Wenger left, the team's performance declined, and I didn't pay much attention to their matches.

I heard that starting from last season, Arteta has built a solid team, and with attacking talents like Jesus and Martinelli, their performance has gradually improved. I sincerely hope they can clinch the league title this season. The Premier League is exciting because of its intense competition, with several teams of comparable strength. Anyone can defeat anyone, keeping the final outcome suspenseful.

It's hard to say, the league is a long process, and Arsenal may not necessarily hold on until the end.

Just leading by a few points, last season they were ahead by over ten points and still got overtaken by Manchester City...
