Decentralized exchange Uniswap has expanded to the Bitcoin sidechain Rootstock, and Uniswap Version 3 (v3) has been deployed on Rootstock by the team behind the trading terminal Oku, GFX Labs. According to the Uniswap website, the project was initially designed for Ethereum and has now been deployed on Ethereum layer 2 networks Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. Oku will provide trading tools for Rootstock, including analytics, limit orders, and liquidity provider position management. The press release states, "Rootstock combines the security of Bitcoin with the smart contract functionality of Ethereum, and is now enhanced through Uniswap v3, bringing new dimensions of on-chain swaps, liquidity depth, and yield opportunities to the Bitcoin network." |
