I have a feeling that the odds are generally accurate and can indeed reflect the relative strength of the opposing sides at a particular stage. However, it's crucial to note that this assessment is limited to a specific period. As we know, the form of any team fluctuates to some extent throughout the season. The common perception of strong teams often leads us to overlook the true capabilities of odds, making this essential element lose its inherent ability to provide accurate judgments. This phenomenon can be attributed to human cognitive bias.

Another factor is the fundamental analysis we create for teams, which is often flawed. In many cases, we, as players, are in a weaker position compared to the bookmakers. Especially in specific phases and regarding specific team fundamentals, we might initially base our judgment on incorrect factors. This is where the odds play their most significant role for players. Simply put, when we believe that the odds set by the bookmakers are "correct" and align with the actual circumstances based on our assessment of team fundamentals, the bookmakers may possess information unknown to us. What we perceive as a correct odds setup might be incorrect at a specific stage due to undisclosed information held by the bookmakers.

In summary, odds only reflect the real-world fundamentals of the two competing teams during a specific stage, considering our limited information. In this scenario, the methods each of us employs can accurately predict the match outcome. However, at a particular stage, the odds set by a specific team are also genuine. It's our information disadvantage that can lead us to mistakenly believe whether the odds are correct or incorrect, depending on our grasp of fundamentals. This is the essence of odds. Odds themselves are real, but our understanding of fundamentals in a specific stage can mislead us into making incorrect choices.

Water level, or odds movement, is the key to determining the outcome of a match. However, understanding the relationship between them is complex, and only a few can truly unravel it. The interpretation of water level changes is subjective, and everyone has their own perspective. I offer my interpretation based on my understanding, acknowledging that it might not cover all aspects. In the end, comprehending the true intentions behind the fluctuations in water level during a match is challenging. Without a grasp of the core fundamentals, discussing the genuine intentions behind water level changes is akin to wishful thinking.

To conclude, these generalizations about underdogs can be summed up as follows: our ingrained thinking misguides us in understanding odds correctly. Analyzing the change in water level on top of a flawed understanding of odds will only lead to more mistakes. In essence, odds and water level are tools that impact our ability to make correct judgments about matches. However, the real owners of these tools are the bookmakers, not the players. Most of the time, they serve the interests of the bookmakers, and only in specific stages do they work in favor of players. In most cases, they mislead us into opposing the interests of the bookmakers. This is my understanding of odds and water level.
