SBI VC Trade's Representative Director and CEO, Tomohiko Kondo, expressed gratitude to customers and stakeholders in a recent social media statement, attributing the company's success to the significant growth in the cryptocurrency market. Kondo highlighted the outstanding performance of XRP, a focal point for SBI VC Trade and the broader SBI Group. The Japanese financial institution SBI continues its active collaboration with Ripple, having earlier announced the establishment of a joint venture this year to solidify their partnership. Kondo also emphasized the pivotal role of SBI Ripple Asia in this collaboration, where SBI holds a 60% majority stake, and Ripple Labs holds the remaining 40%. The entity will introduce Ripple's remittance solution to bank accounts in Southeast Asia. |
