However, the ultimate outcome of its development often deviates from the psychology of entertainment and leisure, reaching an irreparable extent.

The psychology of seeking excitement is a significant motive for gambling. Gambling can fulfill people's desire for excitement, providing both material and psychological stimulation. This satisfaction, whether in terms of money or psychologically, can reinforce the gambling behavior of gamblers. It does seem to be the case that this desire has made us unable to break free from gambling.
