Google has removed exchanges such as Binance and Kraken from the Play Store in the Indian region. The other delisted exchanges include Huobi HTX, Gate, Bittrex, Bitfinex, and nine others. According to a representative from Binance, this will only impact users attempting to access the Indian iOS App Store or the Binance website from India; existing users who already have the Binance app will not be affected. In earlier reports, the apps of eight exchanges, namely Binance, Kraken, MEXC, KuCoin, Huobi HTX, Gate.io, Bittrex, and Bitfinex, were taken down from the Indian region on Apple's App Store. Bitstamp's app was not delisted. Previously, these companies were flagged for operating cryptocurrency exchanges illegally in India.
