What Are You All Busy With? Let's Take a Look at the Beckham-Messi Incident Today! Last month on the 12th, in the quarter-finals of the League Cup, Messi led Miami International to a 4-0 victory over Charlotte FC, advancing to the semifinals. For such an exciting event, David Beckham and his wife Victoria coincidentally posted photos of Messi holding hands with their daughter Harper Seven on social media. However, these photos have sparked controversy among netizens.

On their social media accounts, the Beckham couple each shared photos of Messi holding hands with Harper Seven before the game. David Beckham praised his daughter for having the most beautiful smile. In addition to sharing the hand-holding photos, Victoria Beckham also posted a picture of Messi with his arm around Harper Seven's shoulder, captioning it: 'Another great victory in Miami last night, a special moment with Harper and Messi.' She even tagged Messi in the post. In the photos, 12-year-old Harper Seven, wearing a black T-shirt paired with loose jeans and a casual ponytail, looked noticeably slimmer and had grown taller in the past year, with her height now reaching Messi's ears. It seems that Harper Seven is destined to be a tall and beautiful lady.

Comparatively, other players were seen holding hands with ball boys who were only a few years old. Therefore, netizens began speculating that David Beckham intentionally included personal content to increase his daughter's exposure and pave the way for Harper Seven's future career. Some found this idea unrealistic, as Harper Seven has been in the spotlight since birth and often becomes the focus of the media. She does not need such actions to gain fame, as she is already quite famous.

Of course, in the comments on the Beckhams' posts, there was a variety of opinions. Most people envied Harper Seven, considering her lucky to be David Beckham's daughter. She not only gets to see her idol, Messi, whom fans around the world dream of meeting, but she also gets to hold hands with him.

Additionally, some netizens believed that the Beckhams were flaunting wealthy privilege. They pointed out that since Harper Seven can see Messi almost every day after arriving in Miami, she should give this opportunity (the opportunity to walk onto the field hand in hand) to low-income children who dream of meeting Messi or to children who struggle for their lives in the hospital every day to fulfill their dreams. They believed that holding hands with Messi should not be a privilege and benefit exclusive to celebrities and wealthy children.

In the comment section, people expressed their thoughts, with some believing that these critics were simply jealous. After all, David Beckham is Messi's boss, and Harper Seven is indeed a talented child. One person even commented, 'If your dad can afford Messi's salary, then you can also take a photo with Messi.' However, the Beckham couple has not responded to these controversies.

I actually wonder if other players feel left out when they see Messi receiving so much attention. After all, the team does not consist solely of Messi, and sometimes having too much focus may not be a good thing. However, as long as Beckham doesn't make Harper Seven hold hands with Messi in every game, there should be no issue. Perhaps Harper Seven would prefer to take photos with other handsome singers or celebrities instead of Messi? Haha! What are your thoughts on this matter?

Isn't Beckham the owner of Miami? Messi is currently playing for Miami, so there shouldn't be any issue with the owner's daughter taking a photo with Messi. Besides, Beckham and Messi are probably good friends, so what's the problem with a friend's daughter taking a photo together?

Isn't the media reading too much into it? Beckham's child, why would they need to increase their exposure? He's not short of money. Just like on social media, Messi and Beckham are friends, right? Taking a photo together is completely normal.

Would something like this really cause controversy? Fans are too sensitive. Besides, Beckham and Messi are old friends. There's nothing wrong with holding hands with a child.

Internet trolls are everywhere, and keyboard warriors are a global phenomenon. In the digital age, everyone having a voice is a good thing, but it can be taken to extremes. Many people may act meek and subservient in real life but become fierce fighters online, like 'boxing with Tyson and kicking like Messi.' Without the moral constraints of real life, the internet is filled with countless aggressive, anti-intellectual, and brainless comments. After all, they send their messages and don't care about what the parties involved think. It's none of my business!

Whether it's flaunting or just being themselves, regardless of what others say, as long as they're happy, that's what matters. Being celebrities, they will always be under the spotlight, and no matter what they do or don't do, they will always face public scrutiny. So, whether it's good or not so good, it's all something they can accept.

It's probably some self-promotion going on here. When have we ever heard of owners of big clubs like Manchester City or Manchester United having their children pose for photos with star players? If you want a picture together, you can do it privately, why choose to do it on the football field during a match?
