Klaytn and Finschia to merge chains, form new foundation.

The Klaytn Foundation has collaborated with the blockchain operator Finschia Foundation, developed by LINE Tech Plus, to propose merging two existing blockchains into a new mainnet. The two blockchain foundations will submit the integration proposal to their respective governance members today for open discussion, and the voting is scheduled to take place from January 26 to February 2, 2024. The integrated blockchain will leverage Ethereum (EVM) and Cosmos (Cosm Wasm) technologies, providing a network with compatibility and high performance. Additionally, the two foundations will merge into a single organization, bringing together their technologies, services, and business networks, including Kakao, LINE, and many other strategic partners.
