Who will replace KL Rahul in India’s XI for the second Test: Rajat Patidar ?

India and England are going to  play in second test match . KL Rahul is hurt and cannot play.   So it is clear that The team management has to pick one of two players Rajat Patidar or Sarfaraz Khan.

Both have impressive records in first class cricket .

Rajat Patidar has played 55 first class matches and made 4000 runs at a  healthy average of 45.27 with 12 tons and 22 fifties he is in tremendous form and scored  111and 151 runs against England Lions.

On the other hands

Sarfaraz played 45 first class matches and scored 3912 runs at an average of 68.95 with 14 hundreds and and 11fifties

So it will be very hard for management to choose between them

Both player are talented and in premium form

However chances  are more brighter for Sarfaraz ,he  is a good player who can bat for a long time and score many runs on Indian grounds. He has helped Mumbai win many tough matches in the Ranji Trophy.

It will be really hard to fill the void which is created as Rahul is not playing in second test match due to injury
