Vaidya is a former Indian cricketer. He played four international matches in the 1990s. He had to go to court because he did not pay for some steel he bought. He gave a cheque to the seller which is bounced . The seller asked him to pay again, but he said no. The seller took him to court, but he did not show up. The court ordered the police to arrest him. The police let him go after he promised to pay later. Vaidya now works for the Vidarbha Cricket Association. He helps them find and train new players. He also worked for the Mumbai Indians team before. He was a fast bowler who played for Vidarbha and Bengal. He took four wickets in his international matches. He played 56 matches in the first class cricket. He took 171 wickets there.
