DK had some nice things to say about Rohit’s leadership in the match. He said that Rohit improved a lot from the Hyderabad game. He said that Rohit was good at managing his players, setting the field, and giving instructions to the bowlers. DK also pointed out that India was lagging in the over rate and that England was quick between the wickets. He said that India needs to work on that. DK said, “He was much better than what he did in Hyderabad. As a captain and a player-manager, he showed empathy to the players but also wanted to get the best out of them. He had a job to do here and I think in Hyderabad he was a bit dull with his approach.” DK also said that Rohit took care of the small things in the match. But he also said that Rohit made some mistakes with the bowling changes like using Mukesh Kumar in the second innings and bringing Kuldeep Yadav too early. He said that Rohit still has some areas to improve.
