Let's go back to the summer of 2021 when negotiations were underway between Messi and Barcelona for a contract renewal.

Understanding the financial difficulties the club was facing, Messi voluntarily offered to take a pay cut to stay. However, the Barcelona president, Laporta, took it a step further and made even more outrageous demands!

He wanted Messi to play for Barcelona for free, a shameless request that completely shocked me. Laporta believed that the 34-year-old Messi didn't bring much value to the team anymore.

Faced with no other choice, Messi announced his move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), leaving behind the club where he had spent 21 years. At the farewell press conference, although the club was ruthless, Messi couldn't help but shed tears of sorrow.

His wife, Antonela, handed him a tissue, which Messi used to wipe away his tears and even blew his nose. What was initially just an ordinary tissue suddenly skyrocketed in value due to Messi's use!

Three days after the press conference, this tissue actually appeared on an auction platform with a starting bid of a staggering $1 million!

I was absolutely astonished! To create a selling point, the seller claimed that the tissue contained Messi's DNA and could even be used to clone a football player just like Messi. It was outrageous, but it's undeniable that Messi's influence is immense. With the World Cup victory, Messi officially ascended to become the true soccer king.

Even his personal items became valuable collectibles! After winning the World Cup, Antonela confiscated Messi's golden football boots.

Reportedly, these boots will be auctioned with a starting bid of $300,000, and all proceeds will be donated to an Argentine youth football fund. So, would you bid on Messi's boots if you had the money?

If I were wealthy, the key question is how much wealth qualifies as "wealthy." If I were as wealthy as Mr. Messi, I'd probably bid on whatever Messi was selling, not just his boots!

Even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy it. If I were to buy, I'd go for Beckham's! Lalalala!

I think this is a bit exaggerated. I wouldn't waste money buying something like this.

Buying Messi's football boots can be understood, but when it comes to a tissue... Haha, it does seem a bit unusual!
