According to the renowned NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, on February 11th, Kyle Lowry reached a buyout agreement with the Hornets and will join the 76ers after the clearing period.
The 37-year-old Lowry was previously traded to the Hornets by the Heat. The Hornets planned to continue trading him before the trade deadline but were unsuccessful. Lowry ultimately reached a buyout agreement with the Hornets and decided to join his hometown team, the Philadelphia 76ers, after the clearing period.
Lowry, at the age of 37, is averaging 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game this season, with a shooting percentage of 42.6% and a three-point shooting percentage of 38.5%. |
