Regarding the hostility from the 76ers' home crowd, Simmons said, "This is my third time back in Philly? So the situation is a bit different now. I find it quite interesting. There was an adult particularly angry, yelling at me. I'm just focused on winning the game, so winning is great. I enjoy these moments; that's sports."

Simmons played a total of 13 minutes in the game, with 0 shot attempts, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.
