The primary task of the intelligent robots is to serve customers. They also assist in transporting dirty dishes, cups, and other items to the Rock&Brews restaurant managed by the property. The restaurant robots can transport approximately 20 pounds of food, and after customers finish eating, the servers load these items onto storage shelves. Based on sensors placed around the restaurant, staff can program the intelligent robots to go to specific areas.
However, like humans, intelligent robots can also experience low energy situations. When their battery capacity is low, they automatically go to the electric vehicle charging station instead of having a can of Red Bull.
The intelligent robots, which the Red Bluff Daily News did not specify by name, can display discounted items and specials at the restaurant and sing happy birthday songs to customers.
Since then, they have been a popular attraction at the restaurant. Staff often take photos or videos of them while they work. Staff members are still learning about the roles of the robots.
The casino manager, Steve Neely, said the introduction of intelligent robots was necessary. He and other employees gradually considered staffing issues over the weekends. After searching on the mobile internet, Neely found that Richtech Robotics had already applied intelligent robot networks in other areas.
Neely said, "I went to a hotel in Las Vegas, where they were already using these intelligent robots, doing what we are doing here." "I saw it, I saw its capabilities, and I thought it was a good idea for us."
