February 14th News: Previously, the NBA G League, in collaboration with the Phoenix Suns, announced that the Suns will have their own G League team next season.
In this announcement, the Suns also unveiled the naming process for the new G League team.
In homage to the naming convention of the 1968 Phoenix Suns team, the Suns' G League team will be named through an online competition to solicit team names. Those whose names are chosen will receive complimentary season tickets to the G League games and a cash prize of $1,000. |
