I recently learned that a mother's good friend of mine suddenly passed away. Her departure was truly unexpected. I still remember greeting her before the New Year, and then, after the holiday, I received the shocking news of her passing due to terminal cancer. To be honest, the shock came from the suddenness of it all. I recall scenes of her taking care of me when I was younger, and it inevitably brings a sense of sadness.

Now that I'm in my thirties, no matter how many times I've experienced it, the emotions surrounding the death of someone close are still very difficult to bear, and it's not something one can get used to. So, with these reflections in mind, I wanted to share. Even though these are clichéd truths, we really need to cherish our family and friends, especially our parents. As we grow older, the time we have to spend with them becomes increasingly limited, making it even more crucial to appreciate and cherish those moments.
