March 5th: Today, the Lakers defeated the Thunder 116-104 at home.
Following this game, the 9th-placed Lakers in the Western Conference will host the 7th-placed Kings in their next game. Currently, there is only a 1.5-game difference between the two teams.
In the two meetings between the teams this season, the Kings have won both games. Last season, in their four encounters, the Kings won three and lost one against the Lakers.
It is worth noting that Lakers forward Anthony Davis has yet to win a game in his career against Kings center Domantas Sabonis, with a record of 0 wins and 8 losses. Since Sabonis joined the Kings, they have won 5 games and lost 1 against the Lakers. Last season, the Lakers' only victory against the Kings came in a game where Davis was absent due to injury.
The Lakers will host the Kings on March 7th at 11:30 AM. |
