March 7th Report: In the NBA regular season, the Warriors defeated the Bucks 125-90 at home. After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed the topic of team rotation.
"Playing an 11-man rotation is tough," Kerr said. "I know we've been using an 11-man rotation for some time now, but if we want to increase Trez's (Tres Jackson-Davis) playing time, then we might have to reduce the rotation to 10 players. We'll try to mix and match, but I feel like we've found some combinations."
Kerr stated that the team still needs Kevin Looney for the playoffs, but at the same time, they also want Tres Jackson-Davis to have more opportunities for development.
"We need Looney for the playoffs; there are many matchups where we need him. I know I can trust him, but we also need to give Trez more playing time to prepare him as well. You all saw what he did today; he has the ability to finish inside and block shots, which gives the team a whole new dimension. So, we've decided to increase his playing time, and at the same time, we hope Moses (Moody) can also play a bigger role; both of them were great today," Kerr said.
In the entire game, Jackson-Davis came off the bench for 19 minutes, shooting 7 out of 8 from the field, making 1 out of 2 free throws, scoring 15 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, making 1 steal, and blocking 4 shots. |
