"Previously, there was news about the French midfield star Paul Pogba facing a suspension for doping. So, what happened to Pogba later? Recently, the official results of Pogba's doping retest have been released, showing that he still tested positive. As a result, Pogba is on the verge of suspension without pay by Juventus and potentially a four-year ban, which could prematurely end his professional career.

Last month, the Italian anti-doping court announced that Pogba had tested positive and was temporarily suspended. Pogba subsequently expressed his disagreement with this judgment, as he had no intention of using performance-enhancing drugs. He argued that the nutritional supplements he recently purchased were from the United States, and the standards for doping in the US differ from those in Italy, so he did not agree with the judgment. However, he also apologized for not informing the club's team doctor about the matter.

One month later, the latest doping test results for Pogba are still positive, which means he is now facing a potential four-year suspension, potentially ending his professional career. Before the penalty takes effect, Pogba can submit a defense file within 7 days and undergo further questioning within the next 2 to 4 weeks. According to reports, Pogba is currently searching his home for evidence that could help his case, with the assistance of friends and lawyers. However, based on previous cases, the chances of Pogba successfully overturning the decision are slim.

Pogba's current club, Juventus, did not show any leniency. After the second test results were released, Juventus officially notified Pogba that his pay would be suspended. According to the collective agreement signed by FIGC, Serie A, and the football association, Pogba's salary will be frozen, and he will now only receive the minimum annual wage of €42,477, with a net monthly income of approximately €2,000.

Paul Pogba, once touted as a midfield maestro, had the potential to become one of the greats of his generation. Unfortunately, injuries and various off-field factors prevented him from fully realizing that potential, making it a rather regrettable situation."

Oh my, how could Pogba end up like this, acting all erratic, just like Balotelli and his antics. Why on earth would he take performance-enhancing drugs for no reason? This is a disaster; his own career could be over because of it. My condolences, and I hope he sorts this issue out and returns to the pitch soon.

Just like very talented players like Balotelli, who unfortunately played themselves out. Tragic.

It's such a pity. How could this happen? Overdosing on performance-enhancing drugs is not good for one's body, which is why he got banned.

It looks like he might be forced into early retirement. Such a shame.

This news is also good for Juventus as they can save a significant amount on wages. However, for Pogba, it's nothing short of a disaster. He's already 30 years old, with only a few years left in his professional career. To face such an incident towards the end of his career, a four-year ban essentially means early retirement. Being away from football for four years, especially for a 30-year-old player, is nearly the same as saying goodbye to top-level professional leagues.

Pogba is undoubtedly a talent, but his career hasn't fully realized his potential. However, that's life; no one's journey is always smooth. Pogba is fortunate to have won a World Cup, and he played a crucial role in the team's midfield. This achievement has left a shining mark in the world of football. If Pogba doesn't choose to return, I believe he would have achieved even more. He has earned enough money, and if he retires now, he can lead a comfortable life. If there's a twist in the future, he could explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia or the United States to continue earning. However, high-level professional leagues may no longer be an option for Pogba.
