In today's NBA game, the Golden State Warriors faced the San Antonio Spurs at home. The Warriors' top player, Stephen Curry, was sidelined due to a right ankle injury, while the Spurs' rookie "Zebras" Victor Wembanyama was also absent due to an ankle injury. Despite the absence of Curry, the Warriors faced a tough challenge against the Western Conference host Spurs. They not only failed to secure an easy win but also suffered a 113-126 loss at home to the Spurs, marking their second consecutive defeat.

In the first quarter, both teams battled closely, with the Spurs temporarily leading 32-27 at the end of the quarter, thanks to Jeremy Sochan's 10 points and impressive performances from Keldon Johnson and others. As the game progressed to the second quarter, the Warriors' offense faltered, scoring only 16 points in the quarter, while the Spurs maintained their hot shooting. At halftime, the Spurs led the Warriors by as much as 19 points with a score of 62-43.

Although the Warriors, led by Klay Thompson's outside shooting, managed to narrow the gap to 11 points at one point, the Spurs regained their composure after a timeout. The young players continued to make three-pointers, and their defense showed resilience. By the end of the third quarter, the Spurs still held a commanding 17-point lead. In the final quarter, the Warriors fought hard to stage a comeback, but the point difference was too large. They substituted key players early due to the deficit and ultimately lost 113-126 to the Spurs.

In Curry's absence, Klay Thompson stepped up for the Warriors, scoring a team-high 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Jonathan Kuminga contributed 26 points and 3 rebounds, while Chris Paul added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists. For the Spurs, Keldon Johnson recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds, Jeremy Sochan had 20 points and 5 rebounds, and Malaki Branham scored 20 points with 3 rebounds.

It's good if no one gets injured.
