"He is the fairest referee in the football world, capable of intimidating all the big-name players with just a single look!
He's also the only referee players actively request to exchange jerseys with~

The bald referee in the picture is named Collina, born in the elegant football nation of Italy in 1960.
Like many others, Collina grew up with football. While he didn't possess extraordinary talent, his skills surpassed many of his peers.
At the age of 15, Collina joined a local team, but frequent injuries meant he had very few opportunities on the field.
Coaches often assigned him the role of the temporary referee in training matches, and surprisingly, this turned out to be a stroke of genius!
Collina excelled as a stand-in referee, and coaches joked, ""You have real coaching talent; you should consider pursuing it further.""

With talent and dedication, Collina became a well-known figure in Italian football.
However, at the age of 26, he suddenly contracted a strange illness, suffering from a high fever for nearly half a month.

Although he ultimately recovered, he permanently lost his hair and eyebrows!
This unexpected turn of events didn't knock Collina down but instead gave rise to a highly individualistic eagle-eyed referee.
He truly rose to fame during the 2000 European Championship.
At that time, Collina was officiating the match between the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, where Czech defender Repka committed a malicious foul against Dutch player Davids.
The two players got into a heated argument, and Collina quickly arrived to show Repka a yellow card.
But this didn't calm their tempers! The two were even on the verge of a physical altercation, and Collina, who was being ignored, simply pushed Repka away with a slap.

He then stared him down with a sharp eagle-eye, leaving Repka with no choice but to leave the scene dejectedly.
In the most crucial match of the infamous 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, Collina's refereeing helped salvage some of FIFA's lost reputation.
He was hailed as the fairest and most just referee in football and won the title of International Best Referee for multiple consecutive years.

On the football field, Collina's eagle eyes made numerous big-name players fear him, and he remains the only referee ever to have players request a jersey exchange.
In an era where refereeing controversies are widespread, the ""Collina-style"" of refereeing has become increasingly rare..."

That was in the past; nowadays, the main premise is all about personal gain.

A fair referee is crucial! Hopefully, in the future, there will be more fair referees in the world of football, making the games more enjoyable to watch.
