In this modern society, anxiety is everywhere, just like the air we breathe, bombarding our lives every day through various forms of media. Educational anxiety, mid-life crisis, gender anxiety – it's like a feast of anxiety, and we can't seem to escape it! Today, I stumbled upon a video peddling mid-life crisis, and it got me all worked up. So why do we always fall into these traps of anxiety?
First of all, modern society is too fast-paced, with enormous pressure! Everyone wants to succeed, to live a good life, but the world isn't that easy to navigate. If you're not anxious, you almost feel ashamed to greet people, afraid of being seen as backward. So, before you know it, you're trapped by this anxiety.
Secondly, social media folks are just anxiety merchants. Look at those people, saying one thing but doing another, showing off their lovey-dovey lives, making themselves look like winners at life – they're planting the seeds of anxiety among us common folks, right? If you're not anxious, you're almost envious of their "glamorous" lives. And those who flaunt their supposedly perfect lives on social media are often victims of anxiety themselves. As the saying goes, those who lack something are the ones who flaunt it. In short, everyone is trapped in a negative cycle of anxiety.
Furthermore, let's admit it, humans have a natural tendency to "enjoy watching a show." You see those articles and videos about various anxieties, and regardless of whether you have those issues, you stop and take a good look – after all, it's just gossiping, won't cause any harm, right? Before you know it, you've fallen into the trap of anxiety peddling.
Our brains are really complex. Some people just like to think about the worst, the more they think, the more anxious they become, and the more anxious they become, the more they think about the worst – it's a vicious cycle, isn't it? So, people often fall into the trap of anxiety peddling, to put it plainly, it's because our brains are messed up.
In conclusion, my brothers and sisters, anxiety is no fun. Don't keep trapping yourself in circles, even if there are real problems, find ways to solve them. What good does complaining do? Don't let these anxiety peddlers make money off us or ruin our mood! Learn to relax, enjoy life – that's the way to go. |
