Investment platform Robinhood previously revealed that users of Robinhood's self-custody Web3 wallet can now use the Bitcoin and Dogecoin networks to custody, send, and receive cryptocurrencies. In-app Ethereum swaps have also started rolling out today. The company has stated that in-app Ethereum swaps will be introduced to over 200 tokens for some users today and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. Unlike other wallets, users do not need to hold Ethereum to perform swaps, as network fees are automatically deducted from the tokens they hold, making it easier for users to engage with and utilize DeFi.
Robinhood's wallet is a multi-chain, self-custodial Web3 wallet that allows users to own, send, and receive cryptocurrencies on networks such as Arbitrum, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Optimism, and Polygon. It also enables cryptocurrency swaps on Ethereum and Polygon and connects to a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps). |
