On April 9th, Colombian soccer star J-Rodriguez stated in an interview: "I hope to participate in the World Cup jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and then end my professional career. I want to retire gracefully, leaving football on my terms rather than being forced out. I hope to finish my career with a top team. I will make the most of the next three years, which will be the pinnacle of my career."
At 32, J-Rodriguez currently plays for the Brazilian club São Paulo. So far, he has played in over 600 official matches, scored 166 goals, provided 188 assists, and won 25 championship trophies. His contract with the club expires at the end of this year. |
