On September 7th, Southeast Asian ride-hailing and food delivery platform Grab added a Web3 tab in its Payment page's financial services options, allowing users to connect Web3 wallets to view their cryptocurrency assets. In earlier news, in December 2022, digital asset payment infrastructure StraitsX partnered with Southeast Asian ride-hailing and food delivery platform Grab Singapore to pilot the use of Purpose-Bound Money (PBM) as part of the SG FinTech Festival in Singapore.
